Hey guys this is the topic to talk about the new crossfire patch! Talk about it here...


New Patch Content

Hero Mode
This exciting evolution to Mutation Mode lets you play as a Hero! A powerful character with a modified machine gun and a Grenade Launcher on its alternate fire!

Here are some of the new additions in Hero Mode
Mutants can respawn a limited number of times(headshotting a mutant will kill them off)
Mutants respawn with 50% less health each time
Damage to mutants will increase their levels "Rage"
Killing Mutants increases the Humans attack damage up to 100% over the base
The Hero can use his grenade launcher by right clicking
The Hero always replenishes his ammo from supply crates
The Hero can withstand more hits from the mutants
The Grenades will push mutants away from the impact spot
New Maps
New Hero Mode Map Merida Added!
New Assassin Mutant Character
This Assassin can use his concussion grenades by pressing G (you can hold G to hold the grenade ready). These grenades push humans away from the impact spot. You can use them to push Humans off ledges, out of corners and other obstacles.

New Golden Gatling Gun ZP Crate Added!
New M4A1-E ZP Crate Added!
New Dual Uzi ZP Temporary Weapon Added!
Chocolate Grenade ZP Temp Added!
Items
Mutation Masks ZP Temp Added!
Tiger Backpack 10% more EXP ZP Temp Added!
Tiger Hat GP Added!
Functional Updates
Anti-Hacking measures have been updated and will continue to be monitored. We are constantly working towards making our game as hack-free as we possibly can.
The K-2 weapon should now drop as normal in all modes.
Text Corrections to the Beret Hat Items.
Updates and Corrections to the text of Mutation Related Items.
Additional Holiday Seasonal Items have been removed.
Quick Join has been added.
To access the settings for the quick join click the wrench icon next to the Quick Join button in the Menu UI screen.

I wish hero mode wasn't so broken right now. You'd think when they were going to release a new patch they might, y'know, test it first? That's just my thoughts.

Once they fix it, I really don't see a point behind regular MM anymore. Hero mode is the same thing, just superior. And with the added benefit of becomming godly good at killing mutants, without hacks even!

In crossfire japan they removed the first MM and called this MM2. So ya.

I almost have the Custom crystal badge, only need one more.

Not exactly shocking. Just waiting until that happens here now.

I always did find regular MM to be boringand unbalanced. Still can't play without a competent pc but this might make MM fun for me (that or winning a goldie gat).

I attempted my The-Thinker pose to see if I could figure out what Pass is saying, but mittens keeps throwing rocks at my nether-region, so I'm just gonna .

The first confusing post was a fail, but Pass said it was on purpose.
The second confusing post was on purpose, making it a fail because it's obvious.

im not going to lie but i really dislike hero mode.. maybe its cause the first time i played i got 5 hundred and something gp. but NO xp.. very fustrating spending 30 minutes of my life lol

Yup Z8 messed up this patch. But I still like hero mode.
